Typical Responsibilities:
This position will conduct custom qualitative and quantitative research to provide customer perspective to marketing and product development decisions. The successful candidate will also need to integrate custom research findings with other information (from inside and outside SCE's market research department) to generate compelling research recommendations and action plans. Typical responsibilities include: Working with internal clients to frame research so that studies provide meaningful and actionable recommendations; Managing external market research firms by providing project scope, developing research objectives, evaluating various research methodologies, generating appropriate sample plans, designing data collection instruments, creating appropriate analytical plans, and guiding report writing; ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget; creating and delivering high impact presentations of custom research results to all levels of management; maintaining appropriate project documentation systems; representing custom research on various cross-functional teams; and performing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
